Since its inception in 2016, Joy International Church has progressed from glory to glory. The church was founded at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, Johannesburg, where Rabbi Quinton and his wife held the first service, joined by 13 members. From that moment on, the Lord has continuously added to their numbers each year. As the church expanded and the need for discipleship grew, Joy began seeking a permanent venue that could accommodate more activities and meetings. After a period of dedicated prayer and waiting on God, Joy International was blessed in December 2016 with a campus located at 258 Cedar Road in Chartwell, Johannesburg. This transition took place in January 2017, allowing Joy International Church to introduce evening prayer meetings, mid-week Bible studies, and various ministry departments, fostering greater participation among its members in numerous events and activities. Joy is committed to reaching out to the lost and teaching them the word of God with clarity and understanding.

In 2019, Joy launched its second campus in Cosmo City, recognizing the need to secure a church venue for that congregation. A church building has since been secured for the Cosmo City community.

In addition to the two assemblies, Joy launched its business initiative, Cyrus Business School, in 2020. Cyrus Business School aims to equip the body of Christ with financial tools to thrive in the marketplace by adhering to the financial principles of God's Kingdom. The school delivers its classes through online platforms.
